New! 1st International consensus guidelines for advanced breast cancer (ABC 1)
Based on a meeting held in Lisbon in November, this paper has Just been published in the European School of Oncology's journal The Breast to coincide with the 8th annual meeting of the European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC-8) held in Vienna in March, 2012. NEW! In November, 2011, the first consensus conference on metastatic breast cancer, ABC1, was held in Lisbon, Portugal, for the purpose of presenting emerging research and drafting a set of guidelines for the treatment of advanced disease. Here is Musa Mayer's keynote address, delivered at SHARE in December for those who had not been able to attend the conference.
